About Yorkshire Software Solutions

Who we are

We're Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd, a software company based in Yorkshire and working with businesses across the UK. Founded by David Johnson, we build software and AI tools for companies that don't have a dedicated development team of their own.

We help our clients get what they need built, checked or taught to their team, then hand it over so they can run it themselves. If they'd rather we looked after it, we do that too.

Why David started YSS

David has worked in technology for nearly three decades. He set up YSS so that businesses would have somewhere honest to explain what they need, and so that people who are new to tech would have a safe place to start. We have tutored students and run short placements that give them a taste of real work inside a business.
