What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, job title and anything you tell us about your project when you fill in our contact form, book a call or email us.

Information collected automatically: basic details about your visit, such as the pages you viewed, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and the time of your visit. We use this to count visits, not to identify you.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call. We do this because you asked us to, and because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to people who contact us.
• To provide our services if you become a client. We do this to carry out our contract with you.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it. This is in our legitimate interest.

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails, and we do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of suppliers to run our website, bookings and email. They handle your information on our behalf:

• Lovable hosts this website and counts visits to it.
• Neon stores the enquiries sent through this website.
• Cal.com takes your booking when you book a call with us.
• Google provides our email (Gmail) and our calendar.

Some of these suppliers store information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires.

Cookies

This website sets one cookie, called session-id. It holds a random ID that groups the pages you view in one visit, so we can count visits accurately. It expires after 30 minutes and is not used for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the website will still work.

If you book a call, the booking page is provided by Cal.com, which may set its own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 12 months after our last contact. If you become a client, we keep records for 6 years after our work ends, to meet legal and tax requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. Email contact@yorkshiresoftwaresolutions.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
