Product Rescue to long-term partner
From a stuck launch to live in two weeks
The client's platform was ready, but nobody could say when it would go live. We got it live in two weeks. Nearly two years on, we still build with them every day.

Where they started
A good product with no launch date
The client is a UK data and AI business. Its platform brings together polls, client data and forecasts. It helps companies and member groups understand and reach their audience.
Before
- No launch date to plan around
- Each release was hard to predict
- The platform needed to be more stable
After
- Live in production within two weeks
- Releases go out when work is ready
- A clear plan everyone can see
What we did
One fix grew into a long partnership
1. First two weeks
Rescue
We built a safe way to put new work live. Live in two weeks.
2. Every quarter since
Extend
The client kept renewing. We kept adding new features.
3. Alongside
Stabilise
Every release step written down. Plans show what is built, and when.
4. As trust grew
Build
New tools for the client's own customers: a data portal, a revenue app, a customer database (CRM) and a members platform.
Each time the client renewed, the work got bigger.
Spotlight
A members platform for a national trade union
One of the client's customers needed to replace old member systems. The client asked us to design and build one safe place for members and officials to keep records up to date and organise.
Stage 1 was tested live in real branches, with a clear go or no-go check at each step.
Stage 1: Core platform (done)
- Log in with an email link, no password
- The right access for branch, region and national roles
- Actions and a notice board for members
- Security tested before rollout
Stage 2: Organising tools (done)
- A constituency builder
- Automatic joiner and leaver lists, with alerts
- Employer records and documents
- Recruitment tools and a resource library
Stage 3 is planned.
Built to last
The work does not rest on one person
Over 23 months, 4 of our engineers have worked on it, up to 3 at a time. We add people when the work needs new skills, and scale back when it is done.
In June 2025, one of our founders joined the client's leadership team. Our engineers carried on without a break. Since then, they have delivered the union's second stage, Google Cloud management and extra security work.
The client's CEO makes every decision on our contracts.
Why it worked: every release step was written down, and the plan was clear.
