Competition Overview
1.1 The “Nominate Your Unsung Hero” competition is organized by Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd.
1.2 The competition runs from December 4, 2024, to December 21, 2024. The winner will be announced on December 23, 2024.
1.3 There is no entry fee to participate in this competition. Any third party charging an entry fee for participation is acting without the authorization of Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd, and such fees are strictly prohibited.
Eligibility Criteria
2.1. The nominated hero must be 7 years of age or older.
2.2 If the winner is a minor (under 18 years), they must be accompanied by an adult.
2.3 The winner and accompanying adult (if applicable) must not have a prior ban from visiting Barnsley Football Club or Crawley Town Football Club.
Match and Hospitality Conditions
3.1 The winner (and accompanying adult, if applicable) must agree to abide by all Barnsley Football Club terms and conditions relating to match day and hospitality attendance.
3.2 If the match is rescheduled, the winner will be entitled to attend the rescheduled match.
3.3 If the sponsored match changes to a different fixture, the prize will transfer to the new fixture.
3.4 Any exchange of tickets for someone else in the winner’s place must be agreed upon with Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd and the winner, and must conform to the other terms and conditions of this competition.
3.5 There is no alternative reward if the winner chooses not to attend the match.
Nomination and Data Collection
4.1 To nominate a hero, nominators must provide their name, email address, and phone number.
4.2 This information will be used solely for contacting the nominator regarding their nominee’s win and arranging the presentation of the prize, unless the nominator has opted in to marketing emails.
4.3 Nominators confirm that their nomination is appropriate and does not infringe upon the rights of the nominee.
4.4 Nominations may be submitted without the nominee’s prior knowledge; however, nominators agree to assist Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd in communicating the win to the nominee in a suitable and respectful manner.
Prize Details
5.1 The winner will receive a single ticket, unless otherwise agreed with Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd, to enjoy a stadium tour, a three-course meal, and watch the match from the Legends Suite box at Barnsley Football Club on December 4, 2024.
5.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Winner Selection and Consent
6.1 The winner will be selected by Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd based on the quality of the nomination and the hero's story.
6.2 The decision is final and not subject to appeal.
6.3 Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd will contact the winner via the nominator or directly to confirm their acceptance of the prize.
6.4 To accept the prize, the winner must confirm, before any public announcement, that they are happy to appear in posts on Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd’s website and social media accounts. If the winner does not provide this consent, they may forfeit the prize.
General Conditions
7.1 Yorkshire Software Solutions Ltd reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
7.2 By participating in the competition, nominators and winners agree to these terms and conditions.
